51 42 019 Removing and installing/replacing door handle on rear left or right door trim panel (up to 03/2007)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL

Release nuts (1 and 2).

Lever inside handle (1)

out of upper screw fastening points
and pull off upwards from door trim panel (2)

Installation:

Screws (1) and fixtures of inside handle (2) must not be damaged.

Replacement:

Feed inside handle (1) in direction of arrow out of decorative strip (2) and remove.

Installation:

Catches (1) on decorative strip (2) must not be damaged.
