Main Housing

The main housing houses the gearbox breather, reverse light switch, selector shafts, input shaft and output shaft, all gears except 5th and the reverse gear idler shaft. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .

The intermediate plate assembly is situated on the gearbox side of the clutch housing. It provides support for the gear selector lever and input and output shaft bearings.
