72 11 302 Removing And Installing/Replacing All Seat Belts (Comfort)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove trim for parcel shelf . See 51 46 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR REAR PARCEL SHELF .
- Remove rear seat . See 52 25 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT .
WARNING:

Incorrect handling may trigger the pyrotechnical seatbelt tensioner or side airbag and thereby cause injuries.

Switch off ignition!
Release screws (1) on left and right.
Remove upper strap (2) on left and right.
Installation:
Guide lug of belt retractor must be seated in opening in body.
Unscrew nut (3).
Remove upper strap (4).
Installation:
Tightening torque. See PARTS AND ACCESSORIES - TIGHTENING TORQUES - ALPINA .
Release screws (1).
Remove lower strap (2) on left and right.
Remove lower strap (3) (except E67).
Installation (except E67):
Holder for lower strap (3) must be fitted below lower strap on right (2).
Tightening torque. See PARTS AND ACCESSORIES - TIGHTENING TORQUES - ALPINA .
