52 25 049 Replacing Lumbar Cushion On Left Or Right Rear Seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear seat. See 52 25 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT .
- Remove rear panel on rear seat backrest. See 52 25 ... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR PANEL ON REAR SEAT BACKREST .
- Remove valve housing for lumbar support. See52 25 059 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING VALVE HOUSING FOR LUMBAR CUSHION .
Detach backrest cover at bottom from backrest frame.
Remove air hoses (1) from backrest frame.
Disconnect air hoses (1) from valve housing.
NOTE:
Heat air hoses gently if they are firmly seated on valve housing.
Housing of valve block must not be unclipped (leakage). If necessary, release mounting and clip housing together.

Detach lumbar cushion (3) from spring wire (2).
Remove lumbar cushion (3) towards bottom.
Installation:
Make sure air hoses are correctly connected to valve block (color coding).
Air hoses must be laid without kinks.
Check lumbar cushion for damage.
