51 41 065 Removing And Installing/Replacing Wooden Strip On Left Or Right Door Trim (Front)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screws (1) on wooden strip (2).

Installation: 

Tightening torque 51 41 5AZ.  See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- ALPINA .

Lever wooden strip (1) out of door trim (4) as follows:

  1. At rear lever guide (2) in direction of arrow out of mounting (3)
  2. At front pull off in direction of arrow from door trim (4)

Installation: 

Insert guides (2) of wooden strip (1) correctly into mountings (3) of door trim (4).

Installation: 

Following parts of wooden strip (5) must not be damaged:

  1. Guide (rear)
  2. Bracket
  3. Spacer
  4. Guides (front)
