51 34 471 Replacing Rear Left Or Right Door Window Glass (With Roller Sun Blind)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

First move door window glass into position, see next step.
Remove function carrier in rear door. See 51 22 435 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUNCTION CARRIER (WITH ROLLER SUN BLIND) ON LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR .
Remove window cavity cover strip . See 51 21 302 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CHROME STRIP FOR WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP (ON OUTSIDE OF FRONT DOOR) .

Open door window glass (1) up to measurement "A"

A= approx. 150 mm

Disconnect plug (1) (risk of trapping).

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 51 32 2AZ. See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- ALPINA .

Installation:

If necessary, initialize power window . See 67 62 ... NOTES ON INITIALIZING POWER WINDOW .

Remove door window glass (1) towards top.
