22 31 005 Removing and installing/replacing transmission support bracket

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery, see 12 00 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY
Remove intake filter housing, see 13 71 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE FILTER HOUSING (N12) or 13 71 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING INTAKE FILTER HOUSING (N14)
Remove control unit, see 12 14 550 REPLACING CONTROL UNIT (DME) (N12) or 12 14 550 REPLACING CONTROL UNIT (DME) (N14)
Support engine and gearbox

Release screws (1).

Push fuse box to one side.

Release screws (1).

Remove holder (2).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: 22 32 2AZ, see 32 TRANSMISSION SUPENSION (AUTO.)

Slacken nut (2).

Tightening torque: 22 32 3AZ, see 32 TRANSMISSION SUPENSION (AUTO.)

Remove transmission support bracket.
