11 12 719 Resurfacing Cylinder Head Sealing Face (N12)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove cylinder head.
Remove exhaust camshaft.
Remove intermediate lever on inlet side.

Check evenness of cylinder head sealing faces with a standard straight-edge (1).

NOTE: Max. deviation from level (longitudinal) 0.10 mm Picture show N52.

Check evenness of cylinder head sealing faces with a standard straight-edge (1).

Check cylinder head for water leaks. Refer to 11 12 729 CHECKING CYLINDER HEAD FOR WATER LEAKS (N12) .

Assemble engine.
