Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 BMW 645Ci and 2004 BMW 645Ci. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheel.
  2. Remove stabilizer bar link from holder (1). See Fig 1. Unscrew bolt (2).
  3. Remove nut (1). See Fig 2. Remove holder (2) for brake hose, brake pad sensor and pulse generator. Remove screw (4) with holder (3) towards front.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Replace self-locking nuts and tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
