51 43 148 Removing and Installing or Replacing Trim On Left or Right Door Pillar (Top)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove panel for door pillar (bottom) See 51 43 150 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING TRIM FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR (BOTTOM)
- Remove decorative strip on panel for door pillar See 51 43... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DECORATIVE STRIP ON PANEL FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR
- Release seatbelt screw on seat belt at bottom See 72 11 030 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT SEAT BELT
Release expander rivets (1) on panel (2).
Detach panel (2) in direction of arrow.
Feed out seatbelt strap (3).
Installation:
Following parts of trim (4) must not be damaged or missing:
- Guides
- Belt finisher strip
- Fixtures for expansion rivets
