51 21 351 Replacing Window Cavity Seal On Left or Right Front Door

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front door trim panel See 51 41 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL

Pull off window cavity seal (1) starting at rear in direction of arrow.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty clips (2 and 3).

Coat window cavity seal (1) with water before fitting.

Installation:

Aluminum insert (1) of window cavity seal (2) must not be damaged.
