51 21 280 Removing and Installing or Replacing Door Brake On Left or Right Front Door

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Close door windows
Detach door brake from door pillar See 51 21 ... RELEASING DOOR RETAINER FROM LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR
Remove function carrier See 51 21 035 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FUNCTION CARRIER ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR

Release screw (1) and remove door brake (2).

If necessary, detach seal (1).
