51 16 365 Removing and Installing/Replacing Glovebox Cover (Without Active Knee Protection)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove trim for instrument panel at bottom right See 51 45 181 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM AT BOTTOM RIGHT

Open glovebox.

Release clip (1) and detach retaining strap (2).

Release clip (1) and detach damper (2).

Close glovebox.

Release screws (1) and remove counter-supports (2).

Unlock glovebox (3) and remove.

Installation:

Adjust glovebox (1) to instrument panel (2):

A = approx. 5 mm

B = approx. 4 mm (center)

Check function.
