51 12 432 Replacing Central Body Molding On Rear Bumper

Special tools required:

00 9 321

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove both side body moldings See 51 12 435 REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT BODY MOLDING FROM SIDES OF REAR BUMPER

Unclip body molding (1) with special tool 00 9 321 .

Remove body molding (1) and if necessary disconnect plug connections.

Replacement:

Version with PDC:

Remove ultrasonic transducer . See 66 20 540 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING A REAR ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER (PARK DISTANCE CONTROL)

Remove holder (1).

Version with Chromeline:

Release catches (2) and remove chrome trim from body molding.
