11 14 085 Removing and Installing Top Right Timing Case Cover (N73)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove intake air manifold. See 11 61 050 Removing and Installing Intake Air Manifold (N73)
Remove right cylinder head cover. See 11 12 005 Removing and Installing/Sealing Left Cylinder Head Cover (N73)
Remove fan. See 11 52 020 Removing and Installing Or Replacing Fan Clutch (N73)

Release screws (1).

Remove vacuum pump (2) towards front.

Detach plug connection on solenoid valves (4).

Release screws and remove holder (3).

Remove solenoid valves (4) towards front.

Release screws along line (5).

Remove timing case cover (6) towards front.

Check adapter sleeves (1) for damage and correct installation position; replace if necessary.

Clean sealing faces (2).

Installation:

Replace gasket and ensure correct installation position.

Assemble engine.
