52 25 010 Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right Rear Seat

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screw (1) for seat belt, center.

Tightening torque 72 11 22AZ.  See 72 11 SEAT BELTS

Remove cover (1) upwards out of guide (2).

Detach cover (1) from Velcro-type fastener (5), pull out of guide (4) and lift out completely.

Release screws (3).

Insert nuts with Loctite, tightening torque 52 25 01AZ.  See 52 25 REAR SEAT (NORMAL), ELECTRIC

NOTE: Backrest is secured with three nuts to body (nut at top/outside is not present).

Remove cover (1) towards front.

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 52 25 02AZ.  See 52 25 REAR SEAT (NORMAL), ELECTRIC

Disconnect all plug connections and feed out wiring harnesses.

Release screw (1).

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 72 11 20AZ.  See 72 11 SEAT BELTS

Lift complete seat with seat frame and set forward slightly.

Feed out belt with tensioner (3) towards rear. Remove complete seat.
