51 42 018 Replacing Speaker Frame On Rear Left Or Right Door Trim Panel

Necessary preliminary tasks:

REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Detach plastic welded joints (1) and remove speaker frame (2).

Installation:

Foam ring (3) must not be damaged.

NOTE:

Foam ring (3) is only fitted with Top hi-fi system. Trim is closed without Top hi-fi system.

Installation:

Guide (1) on plastic pin (2) is at top.

Shorten all plastic pins (2) down to measurement (A).

Install speaker frame (3) and mount with repair screws.

Tightening torque: 51 42 3AZ . See REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL WITH ARMRESTS for specs.

A= 4.6_-0.2 mm
