51 41 001 Replacing Front Left Or Right Door Trim

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove AIRBAG MODULE IN FRONT DOOR .
Remove WOODEN STRIP IN DOOR TRIM (FRONT) .
Remove CHEST STRIP (CHROME STRIP) .
Remove DECORATIVE STRIP (LIGHT STRIP) .
Remove INSIDE DOOR OPENER .
Remove AIR OUTLET TRIM AND AIR DUCT .
Remove FOOTWELL LIGHT .
Remove SPEAKER TRIM ON DOOR TRIM PANEL

Unlock catches (1) and remove trim (2) in direction of arrow from door trim (3).

Replace all clips (4).

Feed out airbag label and remove.

Unclip wiring harness (5) from door trim (6).

Plug connections:

Footwell lighting
Control unit
Rocker switch for window operation
Decorative strip (light strip)
