51 34 471 Replacing Rear Left Or Right Door Window Glass (With Roller Sun Blind)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

First move door window glass into position, see next work step
Remove function carrier in rear door
See REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUNCTION CARRIER (WITHOUT ROLLER SUN BLIND) ON LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR or REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUNCTION CARRIER (WITH ROLLER SUN BLIND) ON LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR
Remove WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP

Open door window glass (1) up to measurement "A"

A= approx. 150 mm

Disconnect plug (1) (risk of trapping).

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque: 51 32 2AZ . See FRONT DOOR WINDOWS for specs.

Installation:

If necessary, INITIALIZE POWER WINDOW .

Remove door window glass (1) towards top.
