Brake Booster Vacuum Hose: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Replace hose clips.
  2. Make sure non-return valve cover engages properly.
  3. On 745i & 745Li vehicles, check sealing rings between air-mass flow sensor and intake hose. Check sealing ring in upper section of intake filter housing. Replace sealing rings, if necessary. Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit. Check stored fault messages. Rectify faults. Clear fault memory.
