33 11 271 Replacing Rear Cover Gasket On Rear Differential

IMPORTANT: In event of oil loss, always check rear differential for traces of wear and damage.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Draw off rear differential oil. See 00 11 259 OIL CHANGE IN REAR DIFFERENTIAL INCL. USED OIL DISPOSAL
Remove rear differential. See 33 10 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR DIFFERENTIAL

Select rear differential:

After installation:

Add rear differential oil. See 00 11 259 OIL CHANGE IN REAR DIFFERENTIAL INCL. USED OIL DISPOSAL
