Transmission & Clutch Assembly: Inspection

  1. Check lining for cracks, glazing and oil. Minimum lining thickness is .295" (7.5 mm). Maximum runout should be less than .20" (5.0 mm) from disc outer edge.
  2. Ensure hub slides smoothly on input shaft splines. Check end surface of diaphragm spring fingers for wear. Spring finger height should vary less than .024" (.60 mm).
