52 24 008 Removing and installing or replacing left or right side section on rear seat backrest (convertible)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR SEAT
Release rear-seat backrest and fold forward.

Removing rest side section:

Unclip in middle
Lever out at top from belt cover
Lift out rest side section

Installation:

Unlock clip (1) and pull forwards out of body.

Engage clip (1) in rest side section.

If necessary, replace faulty clip (1).

Installation:

Insert rest side section under backrest mount (2).

Insert plastic tab (1) of rest side section in backrest mount (2).

Pin must not be damaged.
