51 24 100 Removing and installing/replacing rear lid lock (convertible)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove panel for rear lid

Left side:

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Disconnect plug connection (2) on rear lid lock (4).

Release screws (3).

Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Right side:

Disconnect plug connection (1) on rear lid lock (3).

Disconnect plug connections (2).

Release screws (4) and fold rear lid lock down (3) slightly.

Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Unclip holder (1) with screwdriver (2).

Unhook Bowden cable (4) from lever (3).

Remove rear lid lock (5).
