51 46 050 Removing and installing/replacing top trim on rear apron (convertible)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove trim for luggage compartment side member on left/right

Release clips (1).

Feed out panel (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).

Release clips (1).

Release impact plates (2) with special tool 51 2 040 .

Feed out trim (4).

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).

Make sure mucket (3) is correctly seated on trim (4).
