51 21 301 Removing and installing/replacing window cavity weather strip on outside of front door

IMPORTANT:

serve as the basis for this repair instruction and must be observed without fail.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove Mirror On Front Door
Pop catch (1) out of window guide (2) of door.
Pull window guide (2) approx. 30 mm upwards.
Carefully lever window cavity weather strip (3) with special tool 00 9 322 out of door.
Installation:
Catch (1) must not be damaged.
Moisten window cavity weather strip (3) prior to fitting with Approved Anti-Friction Agent.
