Special tools required: 

• 36 1 030

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Check wheel bearings

Lift vehicle.

Check wheel with special tool 36 1 030 (measuring fixture) for lateral runout. For specifications refer to Wheels One-part alloy wheels , Wheels Steel and aluminium strip wheels or Wheels Two-part alloy wheels .

Check wheel with special tool 36 1 030 (measuring fixture) for radial runout. For specifications refer to Wheels One-part alloy wheels , Wheels Steel and aluminium strip wheels or Wheels Two-part alloy wheels .

If applicable, remove balance weights.

Check lateral runout of rim with special tool 36 1 030 (measuring fixture). For specifications refer to Wheels One-part alloy wheels , Wheels Steel and aluminium strip wheels or Wheels Two-part alloy wheels .
