64 51 522 Removing and installing or replacing expansion valve

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

Unfasten nut.

Installation: 

Tightening torque: 5.5 N.m.

Unfasten screws.

Detach refrigerant lines in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

  1. Replace sealing rings.
  2. Tightening torque: 20 N.m.

If necessary, pull lock (1) in direction of arrow and feed out flap (2).

Unscrew nut (1).

Installation: 

  1. Replace sealing rings.
  2. Tightening torque: 8 N.m.

Detach double pipe (2) in direction of arrow and lay to one side.

Unfasten screws.

Installation: 

  1. Replace sealing rings.
  2. Tightening torque: 5.5 N.m.

Pull out expansion valve in direction of arrow.
