51 11 701 Replacing bracket for front left or right bumper (saloon/sedan and touring from 10/01)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove bumper. See 51 11 000 Removing and installing complete front bumper (from 10/01)

Loosen screws (1).

Pull bracket forwards out of T-guide (2).

Installation:

Feed inner bracket (1) into T-guide (2).

Loosen screws (1).

Detach bracket to middle from metal fold (gently pull downwards if necessary).

Installation:

Level for placing on metal fold
Level for subsequent clipping in of bumper
