51 11 159 Installing/Replacing Number/License Plate (Without License Plate BASEPLATE)

Installation:

Different versions depending on the national and model specifications are featured on the template.

If necessary, cut template to match national specification (1).

Lay template on number plate and center.

Select drilling holes (2) to match national and model specifications, then mark and drill/punch.

If necessary, deburr bore holes on number plate.

Hold number plate template on bumper trim and center with position holes (1).

Select mounting holes (2) to match national and model specifications on template and mark on bumper trim.

IMPORTANT: Do not pilot-drill!

Mount number plate with number plate screws (BMW/MINI part number.: 07143448498) on bumper trim.
