51 45 050 Removing and installing instrument panel top section trim (up to 04/07)

Lever out cover on left/right in direction of arrow and remove towards rear.

IMPORTANT: Pull off carefully (risk of damage).

Release screws (1) on left/right.

Remove panelling.

Installation: 

Instrument panel top section trim must be correctly aligned during fitting.

Installation: 

Following parts of instrument panel top section trim (5) must not be damaged or missing:

  1. Foam pads.
  2. Felt strip along front edge (grinding noise).
  3. Trim, middle.
  4. Trim, left/right.
