51 13 000 Removing and installing/replacing front grille center section

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove COVER FROM FRONT GRILLE 

Release expanding rivets (1).

Press together latch mechanisms (2) and remove front grille (3) towards front.

Installation note: 

Latch mechanisms (2) must not be damaged.

If necessary, replace faulty expanding rivets (1).
