51 11 180 Removing and installing/replacing ornamental grille in bumper panel

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Up to 08/2010: 

• Remove FRONT BUMPER PANEL 

From 08/2010: 

• Remove CENTER COVER 

If necessary, remove outside temperature sensor (1).

Release latch mechanisms (2) and remove ornamental grille (3).

Installation note: 

Latch mechanisms on grille and bumper panel must not be damaged.

In the case of replacement and appropriate version: 

• Modify left and right frame of air inlet for brake air duct
