63 99 401 Replacing bulb for left or right license plate light

NOTE: The procedure following the instructions below is possibly made easier by holding the rear lid partly open.

Lever out lens cover (1) in direction (A) and then in direction (B) and remove.

NOTE: Direction (A) is determined by the position of retaining clip (2). Always lever lens cover in direction of this retaining clip because this facilitates its removal.

Remove bulb (3).

Installation:

Do not take hold of glass part of bulb with bare fingers. Only take hold of bulb on base or with a clean cloth or packaging of light bulb.
