Removal & Installation

Do not allow any dirt to enter the system. Seal off line connections with plugs. If necessary, remove fan for power steering. Draw hydraulic fluid out of tank. Release plug connector (1) and pull off. Disconnect plug connection (2) in straight direction, otherwise damage may be caused. See Figure .

Release screw (1) and disconnect pressure line. Remove hose clamp (2) and detach return line. During installation, replace hose clamp. See Fig 1 .

Unfasten screws (1). See Figure .

Slacken nut (1). Replace self-locking-nuts. Remove power-steering pump (2) with bracket. See Figure .

When replacing power steering-pump, release nuts (1) on al1 four rubber mounts. Release screws (2) and remove rubber mounts (3). Replace damaged rubber mounts (3). See Figure . Bleed power steering system. See BLEEDING .
