51 71... Removing And Installing/Replacing Strut Brace (JCW GP2)

IMPORTANT: Vehicle must stand on its wheels and must not be lifted up.

Centering pin (2) missing: Make position of threaded bolt in relation to wheel arch.

Loosen nuts (1) on left/right and remove strut brace.

Tightening torque: 34 Nm

Installation note:

Align spring strut with the marks on the wheel arch using the stud bolt.

After installation:

If a spring strut with support bearing without centering pin was or has been installed, carry out wheel alignment. See ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH LOAD UP TO DESIGN POSITION or ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH RIDE-HEIGHT MEASUREMENT WITHOUT LOAD .
