51 41 000 Removing and installing front left or right door trim panel

Build Date From 09/2002:
Necessary Preliminary Tasks:
- Remove armrest from front door. Refer to 51 41 060 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING ARMREST ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR (FROM 09/2002) .
Lower door window.
Remove reflective door insert (1).
Release short screws (2).
Release long screws (3).
Tightening torque, refer to 51 41 1AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES - COOPER (1.6L) R50/W10 .
Release door trim panel with special tool 00 9 317 (trim panel wedge) from clips (1).
Installation:
Write down colors of clips and make sure they are reinstalled in their original positions.
If necessary, replace faulty clips.
Remove trim (3) of door release handle.
Carefully detach top end of door trim panel (1) in direction of arrow.
Lift door trim panel (1) away from locking/release button (2).
Remove door trim panel (1).
