00 11 229 Oil change in manual transmission

NOTE: Transmission is at normal operation temperature. Transmission oil, refer to LUBRICATION . Replace sealing rings on drain and filler/fill level monitoring plugs.

Unscrew oil drain plug (1) and allow oil to flow out completely.

Clean oil drain plug and reinstall.

Tightening torque, refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

Unscrew filler/fill level monitoring plug (2) and fill transmission until oil overflows. Allow excess oil to drain and reinstall filler/fill level monitoring plug.

Tightening torque, refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
