63 99 201 Replacing halogen bulb for left or right fog lamp (from 07/2004)
NOTE:
Depending on which halogen bulb (right or left side) is to be replaced, it is necessary to turn the front wheels to their full lock so that there is sufficient space available. See below:
Left bulb: Turn wheels to full left lock.
Right bulb: Turn wheels to full right lock.
Necessary Preliminary Tasks:
- Detach front wheel arch trim in front area. Refer to 51 71 040 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL ARCH LINER .
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Turn halogen bulb for fog lamp (2) in direction of arrow and remove towards rear.
Installation:
Make sure halogen bulb for fog lamp (2) is correctly seated.
Note type of bulb. Refer to LIGHTS - TECHNICAL DATA - COOPER (1.6L) R50/W10 .
