11 28 020 Replacing alternator drive belt tensioner (COOPER S)

Special tools required: 

• 11 8 410
• 11 8 470

Remove alternator drive belt. Refer to 11 28 050 Removing A/C compressor drive belt (COOPER S)  .

Remove vibration damper. Refer to 11 23 010 Removing and installing or replacing vibration damper (COOPER S)  .

Release drive belt tension with special tool 11 8 410 and remove locking pin 11 8 470.

Remove retaining bolts (1) and (2).

Remove tensioner (3).

Tightening torque 11 28 1AZ. Refer to ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Tightening torque 11 28 2AZ. Refer to ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Tightening torque 11 28 3AZ. Refer to ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
