61 31 348 Replacing microswitch for unlocking rear lid

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove strip handle (rear lid). Refer to 51 13 402 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING STRIP HANDLE (REAR LID) .

Detach clip (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Make sure clip (1) is correctly seated.

Remove switch for unlocking rear lid (2) in direction of arrow from fixtures (3).

Cut switch cable (2) to size and strip insulation.

Fit new microswitch for unlocking rear lid (2).
