Removal & Installation

Remove exhaust system. Remove rear center console. See CENTER CONSOLE (REAR) . Remove bracket on center console. Remove heat shield. Release adjusting unit for parking brake Bowden cable. See Fig 1. Attach Special Tool (346330) to parking brake Bowden cable. See Fig 2. Slide special tool in direction of arrow onto barbs of parking brake Bowden cable until barbs are free.
Push parking brake Bowden cable toward rear. Release cable assemblies from clips on fuel tank. Remove screws and remove bracket from control arm at top. See Fig 3. Detach cable assembly from actuating lever on brake caliper and pull downward out of retaining fixture. See Fig 4. To install, reverse removal procedure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
