61 13 056 Removing and installing/replacing passenger compartment fusebox

Disconnect battery. Refer to 12 00 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .

Remove front left entrance cover strip. Refer to 51 47 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT ENTRANCE COVER STRIP (INSIDE) .

Remove nuts (1).

Tightening torque, refer to 61 13 5AZ in GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUE - COOPER (1.6L) R50/W10 .

Remove connector mounting plate (2).

Remove connectors from rear of fusebox (1).

Install hint: 

Note colors and position of connectors prior to removal.

Replacement only:

Remove fuses and relays.
