51 12 156 Removing and installing rear bumper trim

The Following Work Operation Applies To All Mini Variants: 

Remove both rear wheels. Refer to 36 10 300 REMOVING OR INSTALLING FRONT OR REAR WHEEL .

Remove rear left and right wheel arch flares. Refer to 51 13 105 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR WHEEL ARCH TRIM .

Remove reversing light. Refer to 63 22 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REVERSING LIGHT (UP TO 07/2004) .

Remove screws (1) from cover for spare wheel recess (depending on equipment).

Remove threaded blind rivets (2) on both sides.

Remove screw (1) in opening for reversing light.

Remove screws (2).

Disconnect PDC plug connectors (1) (depending equipment).

Disconnect plug connectors for side marker lamps (depending on equipment).

Remove bumper.
