51 16 040 Removing and installing/replacing housing on left or right door mirror

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove mirror glass. Refer to 51 16 026 REPLACING MIRROR GLASS .

Release catches (1) starting at bottom and remove cover.

Installation: 

Catches (1) on housing (2) must not be damaged.
