61 31 227 Replacing left and right switches on sport steering wheel

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove airbag unit. Refer to DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .

Release screws (1).

Unclip switches on sport steering wheel (2) in direction of arrow.

Disconnect associated plug connections and remove switches from steering wheel (2).

Installation: 

Make sure connecting cable (3) is correctly routed.
