61 67 045 Removing and installing/replacing spray nozzles for left or right headlight cleaning system

Special Tools Required: 

Pull nozzle carrier (1) out of headlight cleaning system (2) and secure with special tool 00 9 341.

Carefully lift off chrome cover (1) from trim (2) with screwdriver (3).

Carefully press retaining lugs (1) together with pointed pliers (2) and remove trim (3).

Remove special tool 00 9 341.

Release hose connection piece (1) by pressing release tongue (2) on headlight washer system (4).

Release fastening tongue (3), slide headlight cleaning system (4) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation: 

Following parts of headlight cleaning system (1) must not be damaged or missing:

  1. Fastening tongue.
  2. Retaining lugs.

Retaining lugs (1) and (2) of chrome cover (3) must not be damaged or missing.

Installation: 

Position trim (4) under individual retaining lug (1) and clip in the other two retaining lugs (2).
