Cleaning & Inspection
- Throughly clean all parts in solvent. Blow dry all components using compressed air. Examine bearing hub carefully for cracks, damaged grease seal seats, burrs on bearing surfaces and damaged bolt holes.
- Inspect drive flange for damaged or loose wheel studs and damaged or worn splines. Check stub shaft for pitted or scored seal surfaces, damaged lock nut threads, and worn bearing surfaces.
