Brake Caliper & Pads: Installation

Reconnect brake caliper hose, if unit is removed from vehicle. Install inboard and outboard pads. Position caliper over rotor. Ensure brake pads are properly engaged on anchor plate. Sensor wire must be positioned between caliper and anchor before installing caliper attaching bolts.
NOTE: When caliper is installed, ensure brake hose has not been "kinked" by rotation of caliper. If caliper is rotated during installation, the "kinked" condition may cause the flexible hose to break.
Install caliper-to-anchor attaching pins. Install anti-rattle spring. Connect wear sensor. Ensure "O" ring is in position before making connection. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
