Removal (Merkur XR4Ti)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable and remove upper steering column cover. Remove wiper and illumination rheostats. Remove 4 bezel screws and bezel. Remove 4 cluster retaining screws. Pull cluster toward steering wheel.
  2. Disconnect speedometer cable from back of instrument cluster. Unplug connectors and turbo boost gauge vacuum line from rear of cluster. Remove instrument cluster.
